What to do with your life?

Been grasping with this question for many years, and every year I have a different answer and goal: Is it to gain more Knowledge, Adventure, Power, Influence, Human Connection or Money?

A quote that I resonate the most in this post: “Becoming very rich is appealing to people who’ve never actually achieved fulfillment. Had they felt and internalized the joy of Knowledge or Adventure, they’d shortcut to optimizing for that end goal instead.”

In the words of Gordon W. Allport: “To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.”

I guess in the end all I am doing is to make hard choices in life that minimize future regret, and maximize fulfillment. To acknowledge that the Future is finite, which forces me to engage in more meaningful connection, to liberate my emotion, to live truth to myself, to cherish every moment in life. To become a child again, full of wonder and excitement to be right HERE, right NOW!
